"Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord."

"Others came as well, including Elijah, who restored the authority to join families together forever in eternal relationships that transcend death."

New Testament and Modern Prophets: Yes. The New Testament speaks of Jesus Christ,

"Whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which God hath bspoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began."

"And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the Lord's house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it."

"Therefore thus saith the Lord; I am returned to Jerusalem with mercies: my house shall be built in it, saith the Lord of hosts...."

Book of Mormon, New Testament, and Modern Prophets: These all state that the gospel will be taught to every nation, kindred, tongue, and people before Jesus Christ comes again.

Ketuvim, Book of Mormon, New Testament and Modern Prophets:

In Daniel's interpretation of Nebuchadnezaar's dream the stone, God's kingdom, made without hands destroyed the image of earthly kingdoms and grew to "fill the earth."

New Testament and Modern Prophets: Matthew 24:7 states,

"For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places."

Yes. This was once a matter of prophecy. Now, however, it is a matter of current headlines. Modern Prophets Neil Andersen said, "We live in days of wars and rumors of wars, days of natural disasters, days when the world is pulled by confusion and commotion."

Yes. The Nevi'im, New Testament, and Modern Prophets together state that the sun shall be darkened, the moon shall be turned to blood, and the stars shall withdraw their shining. In Joel 2:10 it states, "The aearth shall quake before them; the heavens shall btremble: the csun and the moon shall be ddark, and the stars shall withdraw their shining."

Nevi'im: Yes. Yes. The Nevi'im states in Malachi:

"Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me: and the Lord, whom ye seek, shall suddenly come to his temple, even the messenger of the covenant, whom ye delight in: behold, he shall come, saith the Lord of hosts."

Yes. Paul in the New Testament described the level of latter-day wickedness:

"This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away."

The level of latter-day fear is also described in Modern Prophets, Doctrine & Covenants 88:91: "And all things shall be in commotion; and surely, men’s hearts shall fail them; for fear shall come upon all people."

The Nevi'im contains this prophecy in Ezekiel 38:14-16,

"Therefore, son of man, prophesy and say unto Gog, Thus saith the Lord God; In that day when my people of Israel dwelleth safely, shalt thou not know it? And thou shalt come from thy place out of the anorth parts, thou, and many people with thee, all of them riding upon horses, a great company, and a mighty army: And thou shalt come up aagainst my people of Israel, as a cloud to cover the land; it shall be in the blatter days, and I will bring thee against my land, that the cheathen may know me, when I shall be sanctified din thee, O Gog, before their eyes."

In Joel 3:2, 12-14, it states,

"For, behold, in those days, and in that time, when I shall abring again the captivity of Judah and Jerusalem, I will also gather all nations, and will bring them down into the valley of Jehoshaphat, and will plead with them there for my people and for my heritage Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations, and parted my land....Let the heathen be wakened, and come up to the valley of Jehoshaphat: for there will I sit to judge all the heathen round about. Put ye in the sickle, for the harvest is ripe: come, get you down; for the press is full, the fats overflow; for their wickedness is great. Multitudes, amultitudes in the valley of decision: for the bday of the Lord is near in the valley of decision."

Torah, Ketuvim, Book of Mormon, Modern Prophets: Yes. All the tribes of Israel shall be gathered to their lands of inheritance. The tribe of Judah shall be given Jerusalem as a gathering place.

Torah, Nevi'im, Ketuvim, Book of Mormon, Modern Prophets: Yes. All the tribes of Israel shall be gathered to their lands of inheritance.

"Israel" shall include all those, of whatever lineage, who make gospel covenants with God. These are adopted into the House of Israel.

New Testament and Nevi'im: Yes. Before Jesus Christ comes for the second time, there will first come an apostasy from the truth.

Modern Prophets: Yes. In 2016 one of the Modern Prophets repeated and affirmed prophecy that there would yet be another time when many would fall away from the truth.

New Testament, Book of Mormon and Modern Prophets: There are many passages that state that the "fulness of the Gentiles" will come. This fulness will trigger a key period of transition and focus on gathering Israel prior to the return of Jesus Christ.

Nevi'im, Book of Mormon, Modern Prophets: Yes. Other nations have been previously destroyed on the American continent because of their wickedness and God has said it will happen again if the Gentiles do not repent.

Yes. The New Testament indicates in Revelation that there will be

"two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days."

"their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified."

"three days and a half the Spirit of life from God entered into them."
